Objectives and methodology

D1.2. Objectives and methodology

The scientific objectives (SO) of the InnES project are:

O1. Strategies for the reintegration of wastes and by-products (slag, grape pomace and wine lees) into innovative products for the quality and functionality of the soil as a natural bioreactor for plant growth (according to Competence Center Agenda (CCA) SO1 and 2).

O2. Designing innovative biotic formulas based on slag, grape pomace and extra- and intracellular metabolites from wine lees from the perspective of bioremediation and stimulation of the plant microbiome (CCA, SO1 and SO3).

O3. Phytochemical profiling of the biocomposites from the perspective of obtaining safe plant materials with improved functional properties (CCA, SO1).

O4. Testing the potential of tailored biocomposites as a potential candidate for bioaugmentation, biostimulation and composting of soil for healthier plants and soil (CCA, SO1).

O5. Strategic piloting of innovative approaches as experimental projects for new marketing models (S2B) (CCA, SO1, SO2, SO3,SO5).
